Today we are glad to welcome guest blogger Vicki Wizniuk from British Columbia, Canada to share some Close to my Heart goodness!
I am so excited to share with all of you some fabulous quick cards I created using just some of new products just released this month from Close To My Heart!
I got to play with their new Thin Cuts dies, as well as papers from their new Rustic Home Fundamentals. And I can’t forget to mention that they have a new Color of the Year, this year it is Sea Glass! All of these items truly make my heart happy. ♥
Here’s a better look at the cards individually…
I seriously love those cards. But I can’t let you go that quickly…
I have one more beauty of a project using basically the same supplies, but I added a few additional items. I made this lovely shadow box style bracket frame featuring my beautiful niece and her sweet little family.
I am really loving the new All Together Complements that work perfectly with the Rustic Home Fundamentals papers!
And if you are wondering, I hand-made this burlap ribbon flower by simply sewing a running stitch down one side of a 3 ft. length of 1 ½” wide burlap ribbon, and then pulled the thread, gathering the edges to make it ruffle and easier to shape into a flower. I then used my trusty ol’ hot glue gun to make it keep its’ shape and then added an old wooden button to the center by simply stitching it on. It adds the perfect rustic charm to a fairly simple but beautiful home decor project.
