…this would be true , but we are talking about PLAID ENTERPRISES, one of the world’s largest and most diverse manufacturer of DIY products. Innovative products have made the PLAID family of products some of the most recognized brands in the world.
In 1976 PLAID started publishing how-to books on the hottest trends of the time. They quickly evolved as a leader in the craft industry developing paints, stencils, faux finishes…always staying current with the trends.
Well-known brands in their portfolio include FolkArt paints, DELTA Creative, Martha Stewart Crafts and one of the industry’s best known product, MOD PODGE. The list of brands is long; you’ll be surprised at how many you know.
The PLAID website is a one stop site for shopping, learning and inspiration. There are so many projects in one place, you could literally spend days upon days going through them. Of course their website will also link you to all of their social media forums as well; Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest to name a few.
Like the many varieties of checkered cloth with the same name, so are the many brands of DIY leader: PLAID. You are certain to find products that suit your needs. Of course we are thrilled to have them as a sponsor of this year’s Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival.

I have a LOT of Plaid products because I paint; make cards; scrapbook and dabble in Mixed Media Art. Great Products.
I’ve been using Plaid products since they first started up, including their crafting books. I’ve used various products over the years for various crafting projects and styles of crafting. They’re like an old familiar sweater that fits just right and you always come back to when you want the comfort of knowing it won’t let you down.
