The other day I was working on this layout with the fabulous paper and embellishments from FarmHouse Paper company and May Arts ribbon and I really felt like the beautiful rustic quality needed to be accented and off set with a little glitter.

Perplexed with how to add it, I decided not to over think it and grabbed my trusty  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L  tape runner and added stripes of the tape runner over the paper.

I then poured Craft& Glitz Glamour Glitter all over the tape and burnished it with my finger.

I poured off the excess glitter and my paper was ready to build my layout on top off. The glittery stripes add a great level of texture and interest.

This simple technique, done with a versatile adhesive that we all have on hand would be a great addition to many of your layouts.
