Our Great Adventure by Noreen Smith

Hi everyone!
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for summer to start – the school year is almost over and vacations are right around the corner! I’ve created a cute little mini-album that you can make before your vacation to take with you and use as a travel journal, or, you can make after your trip as a vacation keepsake!This little mini-album is fast and easy to make with minimal supplies and tools, and of course you can customize it to any theme by changing up the papers and embellishments. It’s also very interactive because of the tabbed insert pages, so kids will love it! And no matter if you’ve planned a local road trip or a world-wide adventure, the new Gallivant Collection from Creative Memories is the perfect collection to document your travels with! It features great colors, versatile patterns and awesome retro-style embellishments and stickers!To make this mini I used:

Two pieces of 12” x 12” patterned paper from the Gallivant Paper Pack
Two pieces of coordinating 12’ x 12” cardstock – I chose Navy
Assorted journal and title cards from the Gallivant Variety Mat Pack
Coordinating Gallivant Embellishments and Stickers
36” length of coordinating ribbon
12” Straight Trimmer
Multi-Purpose Tool
4-Way Corner and Hole Punch
Tape Runner Adhesive
Standard handheld hole punch

I’ve created a free instruction sheet that you can download and print off here, and I also made a video walking you through every step of the process of making this mini! Grab your favorite beverage, sit back and enjoy the video

How fun! I’ve made this style of album for baby showers and as gifts for friends and family, but I really love it done up as a travel album featuring all the retro images from the Gallivant Collection! It makes me want to pack up the car and get out on the road to make more memories!
