Superhero Shirt Tutorial Hey crafters, Nicole here and Iβm back to share these awesome shirts I made for the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival in Calgary this coming weekend.Β The theme is Super Heroβs!Β I have been humming and hawing about this for months!Β I didnβt want a costume and I didnβt want to spend a fortune on shirts I knew I wouldnβt wear again.Β So I made my ownβ¦ for $10 in supplies! Lets create stencils using youβre die cuts, paints and a little imagination! Step one buy some shirts and wash them.Β I grabbed mine at Michaels, $3 each.Β I picked up this sticky back roll of vinyl stuff at the dollar store, 7ft for $3.Β One Cricut machine for cutting out letters and speech bubbles. I needed to create a stencil so I removed the images and cut carefully cut the images out with an X-Acto knife.Β Carefully…
Crazy Cats can Dream too! Nicole here share this funny little card and an easy tutorial for a background.Β This card is inspired by my crazy cat.Β She ate my stampsβ¦yep you saw that right.Β She ate my Upstream stamps. I hauled out my Upstream stamps and Crazy Cats stamps and Sizzix Crazy Cat dies.Β I cut Dream with the Alphanumeric die on Sizzix leather paper.Β I stamped this crazy cat onto watercolor paper inked with Ranger Β Archival Jet Black. I used Ranger Ink Distress Markers hickory smoke, carved pumpkin, twisted pumpkin and vintage photo to create my tabby crazy cat.Β Just like Miss Flurryβ¦ the stamp eating cat.Β I just got the Sizzix Crazy Cat dies so it was so great to not fussy cut. Hello again, Nicole here and I am back to share this woody tag I made to show off the Sizzix Evergreen die.Β I love to get the most out of my dies and think of different ways I can use them.Β I love to create layers and texture along the way. I spritzed watercolor paper water then sprayed RangerΒ Distress Spray Stain peeled paint, lucky clover and twisted citron.Β I cut the greens from the tattered pinecone die and added a few forest moss Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock greens too.Β Then I glued them all to a piece of matboard then ran it through on the Evergreen die.Β Creating this 3D Tree. Flip Frame Calendar by Nicole Wright – as seen on page 84 of our Spring 2016 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Iβm back to share a project I was inspired by a couple months ago.Β Nicole here and youβll want to check out One Lucky Dayβs awesome Flip Frame with 2016 Calendar pages.Β I printed off the fun calendar pages and then went to town decorating each month!Β Here is my take and tutorial on this fun Flip Frame Calendar. I started by cutting 3 ΒΌβx 5β pieces of chipboard measuring 3/8β in on the sides.Β I marked each of the 12 pieces and punched out the holes. I measured and cut this gorgeous Heartfelt Creations Everyday Hero paper pack.Β I used Crafty Power Tape to adhere all the paper to the chipboard. I used various Sizzix dies to create the foliage including Tattered Pinecone, Layered Leaf and Tattered Leaves. I love inking up these filigree metal leaf charms from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies.Β Rangerβs Peeled Paint Distress Paint is perfect for distressing these metal charms. I created my own leaves with watercolor paper and an assortment of Ranger Distress Spray Stains peeled paint, lucky clover and twisted citron.
