Katelyn Grosart on the blog today creating with the Simple Stories Always & Forever collection.I’m excited to be back on the blog to share with you my love themed project. Using the Always & Forever Collection from Simple Stories, some adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, a wood piece from Southern Ridge Trading Company and a variety of products from Ranger Ink, I was able to create this beautiful Every Love Story Wall Hanging. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage as I share with you how I created my wall hanging.For the base of my project, I used a wood piece from Southern Ridge Trading Company. You’ll need to apply three coats of Black Soot Distress Paint from Ranger Ink to the wood piece. After the paint has dried, rub the Tarnished Brass Distress Crayon from Ranger Ink around the edges…

Wooden Canvas Featuring Dina Wakley Products

Hello everyone Karen Ellis on the blog today with a wood canvas I created featuring products by Dina Wakley for Ranger. If you’ve been following this blog, you’ll know that I love to decorate the front of my house for the season. I haven’t created anything for Valentine’s Day in a while and thought it was high time that changed! Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! Creativation came to an end last Monday and I was able to get my hands on one of the most talked about products on the show floor this year. Emerald Creek Craft Supplies has collaborated with Seth Apter to come out with his collection of embossing powders called Baked Texture. These are my new favourite embossing powders and I’m sure that you will be stopping by your local scrapbook store to pick them up. Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! Winter has definitely hit the west coast of Canada this week and we even ended up with a white Christmas. With the cold weather here, I decided to create a winter note card . For my note card, I’ve used a variety of products from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies, dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, some adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L as well as a few products from Ranger Ink, to create this fabulous Warmest Wishes winter note card. To start, cut a piece of Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine that measures 3 3/4” x 3 3/4”. Using a blending tool with foam as well as Broken China Distress Ink and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, blend the inks over the entire surface of the cardstock. Today I am sharing this easy resist background for your next Christmas tag or any paper crafting project. Plaid is one of my favourite patterns and it’s even more fun to make your own background. This way you can coordinate any colour you want. It only takes a few easy steps and a lot of inky fingers. Lets get started. Putting Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock card stock through it’s paces with stenciling, embossing, spraying and inking for this tag.
