Bo Bunny: Kiss the Cook Collection and Kerry Engel The Kiss the cook collection from Bo Bunny was perfect for a family perogy-making day we had last summer. I created my title on my cutting system and filled the letters with the Kiss the Cook paper collection. I combined my handmade title with letters from the collection to create my own original title grouping. I like using the small paper pads because I like layering different papers underneath my feature photo. The smaller pads give me access to all the papers in the collection. The large chipboard elements in the collection add yummy layers and textures. To create my background I scraped Ranger gesso onto the kraft colored cardstock with an old hotel room key. I created some green/grey shading on the Ranger gesso with a Tombow Dual brush marker. I drew around my photos and elements with a marker…

Hey everyone, Nicole over at Nicole Wright Designs and I am sharing a creative challenge I face… a simple clean card. I always want to throw all my inks, stamps, die cuts, stencils and embellishments at them. This card is so clean and basic there’s barely even a tutorial. That is great if you want to make some quick holiday cards or gift tags. Take the stress out of the holidays and keep it simple. The key to making these quick with a little bling are the Ranger Metal Foil Tape Sheets. I cut the Woodlands, Holiday Words Block and Holiday Words Script Thinlits with the Foil Sheets. Using the Magnetic Platorm for the Thinlits makes cutting easy as the dies won’t shift. 2. Simply position and stick the Woodlands Metal Foil Tree onto your cardstock. No glue required. Birthday Fishes Card by Kerry Engel A colleague at work was having a special birthday so I decided to make an extra large card that would accommodate numerous greeting from staff (it measured 6×12). I’ve been using my Ranger distress inks to make watercolor backgrounds for my hand lettering and thought it would make a great background for the fish stamps from Heartfelt Creations. I got a bit carried away making fish one Saturday night but it resulted in a very impressive shoal. According to Wikipedia “any group of fish that stay together for social reasons are shoaling and if the group is swimming in the same direction in a coordinated manner, they are schooling”. Hey Crafters, Nicole Wright here and I’m back to share my love for industrial crafting. With the new Sizzix Gears available I decided to haul out my Sizzix Gadget Gears die (I believe the first Sizzix die I ever bought) and have a little fun experimenting with my embossing powders and distress crayons. I cut a set of Gadget Gears with Sizzix Little Sizzles White Mat Board. I heat embossed a coat of Emerald Creek Craft Supplies Era Hammered Metal Embossing Powder. This thick powder leaves open spots to add color. I wanted to see if the distress crayons would work to create a weathered patina on the gears. On the set of gears I used Ranger distress crayons vintage photo, mermaid lagoon, peacock feathers and peeled paint. The distress crayons fill in the areas the thick embossing powders don’t. Once the colors are filled in I used a baby wipe to remove…
