Hi, Tracy here! Today I wanted to share a quick and easy card idea using Stampin’ Up! Stamps, Ranger Archival Ink, Chameleon Pens and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. Project Recipe: Stampin’ Up! – Falling Flowers Stamp Set- Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set (Sentiment) – Cardstock- white and black Ranger- Tim Holtz Distress Archival Ink- Soot Black – Stickles- Yellow Chameleon Pens – YO3, YG3, RD4, BG4, PR4 Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- EZ Runner Grand, Black 3D Foam Squares I started with a piece of white cardstock that was 3.75×5. Using my Ranger Archival ink I stamped the Stampin’ Up! flowers and leaves along the top and bottom of the cardstock. This stamp set is perfect for trying Chameleon markers for the first time. Wouldn’t we all like one of these sitting on the table. What a pretty specimen this would make. Today I am sharing a tutorial for Sizzix using the Flower Garden and Mini Bouquet. You can get the Framelits to go with the Mini Bouquet and Flower Garden Stamps. No fussy cutting! Well I was going through my “Library” of dies looking for the Apothecary die and I found the Bell Jar w/Pedestal first…so it wins! The best part about these stamps… no cutting! Stamp and line up the Framelit. Every flower needs a butterfly and the Butterfly Duo w/Texture Fade is exceptional. The Magrnetic Platform is essential for the Framelits and Thinlits. It helps to use a little washi to hold the famelits in place so it won’t shift. Plastic packaging is perfect for the Bell Jar glass portion. They sit on the counter and everyday I come in and move them around until something jumps out for me. With this set of pictures my first impulse was my go-to “grid layout”. Being asked to join Jackie at Ranger’s CHA media release was pretty exciting until my alarm went off so early that morning. Tired eyes were soon open with excitement at all the fabulous new releases being shared at Ranger’s booth. Hello Creative Scrapbookers! It’s Jayme here with a rare occurrence. I created a masculine layout. As the mother to a daughter, I don’t get the opportunity very often. I do scrapbook my husband, of course, but he is usually photographed with me or my daughter. Feminine layouts are certainly my comfort zone. Thank goodness for nephews! They add color and they get me out of my scrapbooking box! Here is the result- I hope you like it as much as I did. Feeling Rusty by Kerry Engel This page looks like it should weigh about 3 pounds. But it doesn’t. Those gears – they are totally fake. What would take nature about 5 years to accomplish I created in roughly 20 minutes, with a little help from Pentart Rust Effects distributed by Bo Bunny The gears were cut using a Tim Holtz die cut from Sizzix. I covered them in Ranger black gesso and pressed the Rust Effect powder distributed by Bo Bunny into the wet gesso. Then I added the Rust Effect Reagent from Pentart distributed by Bo Bunny on top and brushed it around with an old paintbrush. Once dry I covered in the Pentart Varnish. I thought that would seal in the rust shavings. The gears remain pliable and very light weight. They look very realistic and give my page some lovely texture. I think I’ll do this on…
Hi, Connie Nichol here today with a bright and cheerful scrapbook page featuring Close to my Heart products. My kids and I travelled to Germany last summer with friends and had the best time. And took a lot of pictures. Ha! You’ll be seeing a of them as I slowly get them scrapbooked. This layout started with the Happy thin cuts die from CTMH. I coloured the die cut with Chameleon alcohol ink markers and then added three coats of Ranger clear embossing powder to make the words glossy and dimensional.
