Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! For today’s blogpost, I’m sharing with you my Be Bold, Be Brave Art Journal Page. To create my page, I’ve used a variety of products from Ranger Ink, Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine and adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my art journal at home. To start, you’ll need to choose a page from your art journal. I’m using Dina Wakley’s Art Journal from Ranger Ink and using a linen piece. Apply Carnation Acrylic Paint from Ranger Ink with a paint brush to the page as desired. I focused my colour more in the bottom right side of the page. Rose Birthday Time from Stamp Anniething and Tracy McLennon

Our design team member, Tracy McLennon, has been having a TON of fun playing with the adorable stamps from Stamp Anniething. Here is one of her creations that totally makes me smile! Tracy designed the background of the card using the Stamp Anniething Bubble Circle Stencil. Along with a variety of Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks. The stamp and die set, from Stamp Anniething, is the Rose Birthday Time set. So cute. Tracy coloured the stamped images using Zig Clean Markers. She added SPARKLES to some of the background circles using Ranger Stickles. And finally, she adhered everything down using a variety of adhesives by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. The Holidays Are Here!

Okay – the holidays are IN THE AIR…don’t panic….BUT …. for me getting ready for all the excitement is really most of the fun!!!! I LOVE the anticipation. This year I made more Christmas cards then I ever have in my life! Usually I make one and then replicate it. This year the magic of all the Christmas products especially the Christmas themed stamps had me shopping a TON! Here is a little card I made last night. This card features Kawaii Cuties, The Holidays Are Here, stamp set by Stamp Anniething. AND the coordinating dies – cause who wants to fussy cut when there are adorable little cuties to color?Am I right?!? I created the background with this fabulous star stencil also by Stamp Anniething I blended Simon Hurley Create ink to create the background. Kim Gowdy was very buys this week creating spooky Halloween cards. One of her favourite things to do and you can tell! Check out this card she designed. How gorgeous! Kim designed the background using one of her gel mono prints she created using the Ranger Gel Printing Plate AND Ranger Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paint. She stamped the Stampers Anonymous stamps on Deli Paper. Using Ranger Archival Ink. She then cut out the pumpkins and with hat and adhered them to the mono print using Ranger Dina Wakley Media Matte Gel Medium. Using Zebra Doodler’z Gel Glitter Pens she outlined all the stamped images. This made the images glitter! You can see it here. Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! For today’s blogpost, I’m sharing with you how to create this Skull Wall Hanging which uses a variety of stamps and stencils from Stampers Anonymous, Dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, a variety of products from Ranger Ink, patterned paper from Wild Whisper Designs and adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite fall beverage and learn how to recreate my wall hanging at home. To start, you’ll need to die cut a 4 1/4” Fitted Rounded Rectangle from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of a piece of Distress Watercolour Cardstock from Ranger Ink. Place the Crackle Stencil from Stampers Anonymous in the top left side of the rectangle. Using a palette knife and Distress Texture Paste – Grave from Ranger Ink, put the texture paste through the stencil. Repeat this step for the top right and bottom right corners of…

Size does matter ~ Essentials Planner Layout

Size does matter, sometimes! There are times I want to create smaller than a 12×12. Not because it’s easier, because it works different creative muscles. I pulled out my planner from Elizabeth Craft Designs and used the July 2021 Sketchy Challenge as a starting point.When I work in the planner, I am always aware of what will ‘split’ down the center. Sometimes I will let photos or ephemera flow across the center if it doesn’t cut in an awkward place, i.e. splitting a person in half would not be good! I am IN LOVE with how Desiree Saskiw designed this layout. It is brilliant! The cut out photo, the stamped eye, the doodling, the flowers in her hair and that stunning background. And the quote is perfect. Every once in awhile a layout stops you in your tracks…this one did it for me. If you are wondering – those funky stamps are from Ranger – their Dylusions collection. Desiree’s layout was one of MANY projects that were featured in the Summer 2021 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine in an INSPIRED by MEXICO gallery. Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! For today’s blog post, I’m sharing with you how to create this Grow Art Journal Page using a variety of products from Ranger Ink and adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my art journal page at home. To start, you’ll need to grab your Art Journal. I’m using Dina Wakley’s 6×6 White Art Journal from Ranger Ink. Choose one of the pages and use Dina Wakley White Gesso from Ranger Ink to cover the page. Next you’ll need Dina Wakley Acrylic Heavy Body Paint in Blushing and Fuchsia from Ranger Ink. Apply the two colours of paint to the page as desired with a paintbrush.
