Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! Katelyn Grosart here! For today’s blog post, I’m sharing with you my Warmest Wishes Wall Hanging. As the days get shorter, darker, and closer to Christmas, I find myself up in my craft room contemplating Christmas. I don’t have enough cards made and have lost my creative mojo. Like everyone, I’m getting weary of COVID dos and don’ts, but feel strongly about their importance. During these nights in my craft room, I have gotten into watching Lucifer on Netflix! It has been a long time since a series entertained me so much, I am LOVING it! It is easy enough to follow while I play with my supplies, yet I have been pulled into the story! About a week or so ago, I made all kinds of tag bases with my Ranger paints, stencils, and gel plates. Didn’t overthink them, just played and watched TV. It felt good, it felt easy, it felt fun. Last night as I made my way to Season 2 of Lucifer,…

Kim here for a quick share today! Are you ever in need of a “quick” one layer card to drop in the mail? I often need to make a card on the fly, here’s one way to do just that. Using three colours of Ranger Distress Oxide and Creative Scrapbooker’s Super Stock, I created a gradient of colour. I inked these colours over a circle mask, adhered with Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L reposition-able tape [ the GREEN one ]. Next, grab a stencil and use a baby wipe to “lift” off the Distress Oxide Ink, this adds a little extra visual texture to your card. I dug into my Magenta stash to find this leafy stem stamp. To give it a silhouette vibe, I stamped using Ranger’s Archival black ink. I like to work on a single piece of cardstock and then adhere to a card base with a permanent…

Do you remember paper-tole from the 80’s? It was a very fussy art form that involved layering identical prints to build a 3D pictures. I love to make dimensional cards and there is a quicker and easier way to get a suede-paper-tole look and not waste anything! How to make two 3-dimensional cards at once: leave one Therm O Web Deco Foil Toner Card Front intact. use a second Therm O Web Deco Foil Toner Card Front to cut out a large flower for a 3D flower. layer the remaining pieces of the second card to build a stunning 3D floral cluster. Foiling made easy: Therm O Web Deco Foil has partnered with Unity Stamp Co. to create an exclusive line of Toner Card Fronts. The Toner Card front is made for foiling. You can have a lot of fun changing up the foil colours but for this set, I…

Summer is slowly slipping away but that doesn’t mean we can’t capture those moments and scrap them. Hello fellow creatives, Nicole here bringing you a scrappy layout!  I know… not my usual gig.  However, I have a new paper collection releasing with Wild Whisper called Tinbit Travels and I wanted to scrap with it.  I created these mixed media pages to mimic the outdoors with colours and texture.  Check out this easy layout for my Airstream, Tinbit. Tinbit Travels is about to release.  For this layout I cut every sheet.  Yes, that was surprisingly difficult.  I printed out a 5×7 Tinbit photo and gathered some supplies to get inspired. I cut each piece of the mixed media side of the Tinbit Travels pages 1 ¾”x 11”.  Because each mixed media page is designed with the textures of nature, I wanted to add all that pop of colour.  You can use…
