Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! For today’s blogpost, I’m sharing with you how to create this Skull Wall Hanging which uses a variety of stamps and stencils from Stampers Anonymous, Dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, a variety of products from Ranger Ink, patterned paper from Wild Whisper Designs and adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite fall beverage and learn how to recreate my wall hanging at home. To start, you’ll need to die cut a 4 1/4” Fitted Rounded Rectangle from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of a piece of Distress Watercolour Cardstock from Ranger Ink.Β  Place the Crackle Stencil from Stampers Anonymous in the top left side of the rectangle. Using a palette knife and Distress Texture Paste – Grave from Ranger Ink, put the texture paste through the stencil. Repeat this step for the top right and bottom right corners of…

Size does matter, sometimes! There are times I want to create smaller than a 12×12. Not because it’s easier, because it works different creative muscles. I pulled out my planner from Elizabeth Craft Designs and used the July 2021 Sketchy Challenge as a starting point. When I work in the planner, I am always aware of what will β€˜split’ down the center. Sometimes I will let photos or ephemera flow across the center if it doesn’t cut in an awkward place, i.e. splitting a person in half would not be good! Trust your brain…it will know right from wrong! Thanks for checking into my post! If you haven’t joined our Sketchy Challenge on Facebook, we welcome you! ~Kim

I am IN LOVE with how Desiree Saskiw designed this layout. It is brilliant! The cut out photo, the stamped eye, the doodling, the flowers in her hair and that stunning background. And the quote is perfect. Every once in awhile a layout stops you in your tracks…this one did it for me. If you are wondering – those funky stamps are from Ranger – their Dylusions collection. Desiree’s layout was one of MANY projects that were featured in the Summer 2021 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine in an INSPIRED by MEXICO gallery. This may be one of my all time favourite sections in the magazine. So bright, so cheerful, so colourful! All my favourite things.Β  Get your copy of the magazine today! Happy Tuesday Friends! Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! For today’s blog post, I’m sharing with you how to create this Grow Art Journal Page using a variety of products from Ranger Ink and adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my art journal page at home. To start, you’ll need to grab your Art Journal. I’m using Dina Wakley’s 6×6 White Art Journal from Ranger Ink. Choose one of the pages and use Dina Wakley White Gesso from Ranger Ink to cover the page. Next you’ll need Dina Wakley Acrylic Heavy Body Paint in Blushing and Fuchsia from Ranger Ink. Apply the two colours of paint to the page as desired with a paintbrush. I have the colour primarily in the middle of the page. Next, you’ll need the Textures Stamp Set from Ranger Ink. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink…

If you are like me and find watching embossing powder change to liquid as it heats up oddly satisfying, this is the technique for you! To create this card first cut out a base from Ranger Simon Hurley Create Stark White Cardstock. I used an Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangle die.Β  On a second piece of white cardstock, emboss the brick wall using a Tim Holtz Embossing Folder. Once embossed cut out the brickwall using a slightly small stitched rectangle die from the sameΒ  Elizabeth Craft Designs die set.Β  Adhere the brick wall in the center of the larger stitched rectangle using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Squares. Set aside. Next, on a piece of white cardstock, lay a Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz stencil down. Apply Ranger Simon Hurley Create ink with a Mini Blending Tool. Lift up the stencil and gently spread the ink filling in the white spots.…

What do you get when you mix Art Impressions Rubber Stamps with Simple Stories?!?!? A charming little card that makes you feel like spring! To create the card I cut a card front from a piece of pink striped patterned paper from the Simple Stories Bunnies & Bloom collection. I cut the same size card front from Ranger Simon Hurley Create Stark White cardstock. Using a Sizzix Framelits circle die, I cut out a circle window in the upper portion of both the card fronts – in the exact same spot. Using Glue Dots Adhesives Gluetape I adhered the two-card fronts together. This process made the pink stripe paper stronger so I could pop it up later. Next, cut out a piece of Prima Marketing white watercolor paper. Pop it into your Tonic StudiosΒ  Tim Holtz Stamping Platform. Securing it into place. Stamp the Art Impressions floral stamp onto the…

Hello crafty friends! Tracy here and today I have a pretty little card to share today featuring Gateway Dies and the Cascading Wisteria collection from Heartfelt Creations. Here are all of the details. First I used my Heartfelt Creations Gateway dies to cut my layers from white and Luxe Gold Cardstock. To create my card base I folded a piece of white cardstock in half and die cut it using the largest die from the set, making sure to keep the card’s fold intact. I stamped and die cut all of the Wisteria images using Ranger Archival Ink- Coffee onto white cardstock, and added colour to the branches and flowers using Zig Clean Color Markers and a waterbrush. I added colour to the leaves using Ranger Distress Oxide Ink andΒ  Heartfelt Creations Stack and Store Daubers. I shaped all of the flowers and leaves slightly using my shaping tool and…

First off, I bought this stamp set from Stampers Anonymous awhile ago and just haven’t had the chance to play with it.Β  I finally pulled it out the other night and started to design with it.Β  I had a smile on my face the entire time. How adorable are those little guys? Am I right or what?! LOLOL! Great job Tim Holtz! I ended up creating a number of little tags that I love! Here are the basic steps to create the tags 1. Using a Scrapbook.com Nesting Tag die and reinforcement circle, cut out a tag from a piece of Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock. 2. Place your tag in your stamp positioner along with the little bunny stamp. 3. Using a post-it note, cover up the sentiment on the bottom of the stamp so it doesn’t stamp on the tag. 4. Ink the stamp with Ranger Archival ink and…

Creating cards with background dies is my latest obsession. Speaking of OBSESSION – Impression Obsession has a variety of MUST HAVE background dies that are absolutely perfect for jazzing up your cards or being the star of the show! Here is the latest card I put together. First I cut out several of the Sunburst Background die from Impression Obsession using black cardstock. I adhered three of them together and let the third one peek slightly from behind so that it is blacker around the sun circle. I pulled out my Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brushes – these are a serious blending game changer.Β  I used them to blend THREE of my favourite colours of Ranger Tim Holtz Distress ink onto a piece of Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock. These three colours look like a beautiful sunset! Using Art Glitter glue with a fine metal tip I adhered the…
