I can’t stop playing with this A Tree Die from Picket Fence Studios. Here is a quick little card I put together using it. I started by die cutting out 3 trees from Ranger Simon Hurley Create cardstock. I adhered two of the trees together and coloured the third with Ranger Tim Holtz Distress ink. I then adhered the coloured tree on top of the two trees with some of the white showing behind. Next, I blended three shades of Ranger Tim Holtz Distress ink onto a piece of cardstock. I used my Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brushes for a perfect blend. Next, I layed the Funky Leaves stencil from Picket Fence Studios on the background and added some white Distress ink. The look is very soft and subtle. I spritzed with water cause I LOVE those white water dots! With my Ranger Dina Wakley Media acrylic paint…

This card by Connie Nichol is not only a GIGGLE maker – it might just be the “sunniest” card EVER!!!! ย To create this card Connie laid her Picket Fence Studios stencil down on a piece of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Super Stock. She then applied Ranger Tim Holtz Distress ink to create the sunburst. Using Therm O Web icraft Mixed Media Adhesive she adhered the sequins over the inked design. As the days get shorter, darker, and closer to Christmas, I find myself up in my craft room contemplating Christmas. I donโ€™t have enough cards made and have lost my creative mojo. Like everyone, Iโ€™m getting weary of COVID dos and donโ€™ts, but feel strongly about their importance. During these nights in my craft room, I have gotten into watching Lucifer on Netflix! It has been a long time since a series entertained me so much, I am LOVING it! It is easy enough to follow while I play with my supplies, yet I have been pulled into the story! About a week or so ago, I made all kinds of tag bases with my Ranger paints, stencils, and gel plates. Didnโ€™t overthink them, just played and watched TV. It felt good, it felt easy, it felt fun. Last night as I made my way to Season 2 of Lucifer,…

Kim here for a quick share today! Are you ever in need of a โ€œquickโ€ one layer card to drop in the mail? I often need to make a card on the fly, hereโ€™s one way to do just that. Using three colours of Ranger Distress Oxide and Creative Scrapbookerโ€™s Super Stock, I created a gradient of colour. I inked these colours over a circle mask, adhered with Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L reposition-able tape [ the GREEN one ]. Next, grab a stencil and use a baby wipe to โ€œliftโ€ off the Distress Oxide Ink, this adds a little extra visual texture to your card. I dug into my Magenta stash to find this leafy stem stamp. To give it a silhouette vibe, I stamped using Rangerโ€™s Archival black ink. I like to work on a single piece of cardstock and then adhere to a card base with a permanent…
