Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a scrapbook layout featuringΒ a Quietfire Design stamp and an assortment of Elizabeth Craft Designs dies and patterned paper. Β I love using quotes on my scrapbook pages and am often inspired by the stamps I find on the Quietfire Designs website. Elizabeth Craft Designs has just released some 6×6 paper packs featuring close up phototographs taken byΒ Els van de Burgt of stone, wood and metal. Β Pretty cool idea! For the page title, I just used the word ‘Happy’ from the Happy Anniversary die set and sponged it with some Clearsnap ink to take the edge off of the white cardstock. Β The Stitched Oval dies are one of my favourite ECD sets. Β The sizes and shapes seem to be just right for stamped sentiments and I adore the perforated edges. Β A nice elegant look with no fuss. Β The little pail and shovel I used as…

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a simple scrapbook layout featuring a beautiful patterned paper line from Creative Memories stamps and digital cut files from Quietfire Design cut with the Sizzix Eclips 2. and some stitching with the Brother Sewing Machine The scrapbooking process is a little different for everyone, but when I start with a Quietfire Design quote stamp, I am totally inspired by the quote and go from there. Β I looked through my photos and found this one of my friend Jackie with a massive hydrangea bush from 2013 that I thought would do the quote justice. Β Next, I selected the beautiful Creative Memories Watercolour Paper Pack and Watercolor Love Embellishments to form the basis of the layout. Β The soft colours and patterns are just beautiful. Β Although romantic, the papers work for a lot of other photographs too. Lastly, I considered how I might accent the page with…

Hereβs the story. My best friend had a baby.Β In fact, she had her second little girl. Because this was her second, I told her I was planning something special for her instead of more clothes or toys that she didnβt necessarily need. Sounding good so far, right? Well, I planned to create an album using this Project Life β’ kit: Hello Baby by Stampinβ Up! Β I was going to build her a first year album so that all my Mommy friend had to do was slip those pictures in the slots. I am always full of good ideas but I really donβt know where I think time growsβ¦ it sure isnβt on trees. At least not on the kind of trees I have in my backyard. β¦ if you ever find a time tree or better yet a money tree, would you mind sending me a treasure map so…
