Hello everyone! Kim here, sharing a few of my favourite supplies! This was originally going to be a share of my take on the March Sketchy Challenge, a fantastic story line design with spots for lots of pictures! Tuesday With The Team gets Cabin Fever

Happy Tuesday everyone! Is the sun shining in your neck of the woods and possibly sending a spring vibe to your world? It’s Kim here with a Tuesday With the Team layout share! My layout is NOT very springy but since we are officially still in winter, here I go! I used our January Sketchy Challenge as a starting point for my layout. Rotating it to the left seemed to work best for me. I was thrilled to pull out my Carta Bella ‘Cabin Fever’ collection! From the first time I set my eyes on this collection I LOVED IT. It definitely gives off a cozy, winter vibe and was perfect for the photos I wanted to share. December Sketchy Challenge – Ranger Distress inks to the Rescue!

Hello! Kim here with a quick share, my layout based on our December Sketchy Challenge! Those who go to retreats with me know that I CANNOT focus and get things done. I chat too much, can’t find what I need and “squirrel” around seeing what everyone else is doing! In the moment, I hate that I can’t scrapbook while retreating, but I come home so inspired…it’s just what I need to unwind and get the creative juices flowing! My friend Kerry gave me the creative task of working with the negative space of her cut-out for a project. Based on the shape…I’m sure it was for her sketch inspired layout as well! MY FAVOURITE RANGER PRODUCTS I taped it onto my blank, bright-white Creative Scrapbooker Magazine’s Superstock and started playing with my Ranger Distress Oxide inks! Tuesday with the Team – Happy New Year thoughts from Kim

HAPPY NEW YEAR Hello and Happy New Year! Kim here for a Tuesday with the Team post! First and foremost, how luck am I to work with such an amazing group of creative souls. I sometimes have to pinch myself! My project today is actually one I worked on in November but did not get a chance to share. In December, my focus quickly went to cards, gift buying and a trip to Mexico. Now it’s time to get back into a creative routine and practice! SIMPLE SCRAPBOOKING LAYOUT This simple layout was created using products from Paper House Productions and Tombow. PRODUCT LOVE My layout background was created with two sheets of patterned paper from the Delish 12” Paper Pad covered with the acetate bird sheet. Simple Stories’ Vintage Blessing and October Sketchy Challenge

Hello! Kim here with a quick share of my take on last month’s Sketchy Challenge! Kerry designed this neat sketch for October, try as I did…I wasn’t feeling the ‘angle’ for the photos I wanted to work with. SWITCH IT UP Instead, I worked with elements of the sketch! I moved, shuffled, altered my papers and pictures until I was happy…sometimes it’s a LONG process! I must say I was quite happy with the finished results. PRODUCT LOVE! Simple Stories’ ‘Vintage Blessings’ collection was such an awesome choice for the photos I was working with. The soft, muted colors of the papers, embellishments and quotes were perfect for the old family photos I was scrapbooking! Die –hard story tellers, need not fear! Hello everyone, Kerry Engel here on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog with some autumn inspiration for you from BoBunny and the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine October Sketchy Challenge. This month’s sketch gives you room to tell a great photo story; it has room for four photos! The off-kilt design shakes things up a bit, creating some fun energy. I love summer colours but it was so fun to play with the rusty burgundies in this BoBunny Dreams of Autumn collection, they are so rich and yummy: almost makes me excited that fall is here. Kim here today to share my take on the March Sketchy Challenge. This fun sketch was designed by the talented Kerry Engel; who shared several takes of this sketch in our Sketchy Gallery. I choose to work with this sketch while on retreat a few weeks back. I am not a productive scrapbooker at retreats because I socialize and enjoy the company around me, I find it hard to create with so much going on but wouldn’t miss them for the world…retreats are just plain good for the soul! I used paper and die-cuts from Kaisercraft’s “Me Collection”. It was the perfect retreat paper…I grabbed 3 Chameleons pens and randomly coloured some of the doodles on the page…all while keeping up with the stories going on around me! I grabbed my Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L tape runner to put everything in place! My title is made from older Tim Holtz…

Here is my take on our October Sketch featuring Magenta, Clearsnap, Sakura and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. I was totally inspired by my beautiful friend Christy Riopel, who passed away on August 21. As I created this layout using her techniques and tips and tricks – I found a little bit of healing. Through the tears many many many wonderful memories emerged – thank you Christy for so much. Sunflower Love | Featuring Close To My Heart

Hello Creative Scrapbookers! Kim here today; with a layout created with all thing Close To My Heart! I used our September Sketchy Challenge as a starting point for my layout, Kelly continues to come up with brilliant designs for our monthly challenge. I used the cardstock from the CTMH Adventure Combo Pack, patterned paper from the CTMH Adventure Fundamentals as well stickers, stamps, ink and the newest CTMH Cricut cartridge ‘Flower Market’. These flower embellishments were cut and layered using a design from CTMH Flower Market Cricut cartridge. There are so many fun images on this cartridge, I know it will become a well-loved addition to my stash.
