Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! Katelyn Grosart back on the blog today to share with you a fun art journal page. Summer has arrived and the inspiration for my project definitely came from all the bright colours that come with summer. The jumping off point for my project was the Small Patterns & Forever & Always collections from Wild Whisper Designs which combined with a variety of mediums and art journal from Ranger Ink, stencils from Stampers Anonymous, a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs and adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, I was able to create my fun I Have an Entire Forest Art, Journal Page. Hello and welcome back crafty friends! Tracy McLennon here, and today I have a little liquid gold inspired layout to share with you. My layout is inspired by my husband’s love for craft beer. I don’t like beer myself, but what I do enjoy is exploring these fabulous local businesses and the art and design that goes into their craft.As soon as I set eyes on these fabulous stamps from Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection….I knew I had to have them for just this reason. Even just as the stamp alone, don’t they look fabulous?I created my layered background and then did a few simple mixed media steps in order to frame the area where my matted photo would be. I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer for Ranger with all these vibrant Mini Archival Inks and stretch beyond Jet Black. This tutorial is an experiment for me and I love the results the Mini Archival Inks create. These crisp colors provide a detailed stamped image allowing versatility even when watercoloring.The Mini Archival Inks are just the right size for adding ink in select areas of the rubber stamps. Allowing me to ink and build each stamped image. Each ink is easily cleaned off the Archival Cleaner. Crazy Cats can Dream too! Nicole here share this funny little card and an easy tutorial for a background. This card is inspired by my crazy cat. She ate my stamps…yep you saw that right. She ate my Upstream stamps. I hauled out my Upstream stamps and Crazy Cats stamps and Sizzix Crazy Cat dies. I cut Dream with the Alphanumeric die on Sizzix leather paper. I stamped this crazy cat onto watercolor paper inked with Ranger Archival Jet Black. I used Ranger Ink Distress Markers hickory smoke, carved pumpkin, twisted pumpkin and vintage photo to create my tabby crazy cat. Just like Miss Flurry… the stamp eating cat. I just got the Sizzix Crazy Cat dies so it was so great to not fussy cut. Now that the Crazy Cat is quickly cut I can start the background. I used my Ranger Distress Ink to ink up my Upstream…
