Friday again! That means we have another scrapbooking room to visit! We are off toΒ Port Elgin, Ontario to swoon over Marlee Craven’s light filled room! Hi Kim, I would love to share my Happy Scrappy Place with you!!!Β  I have beautiful French doors at the entrance of my room to allow some privacy and light… also to keep my fur babies out if I need to!!Ha!Β  My Ikea gate leg table folds out in a jiffy providing me with lots of scrapping space; for me or to share with a scrappy friend!Β  This room faces east and with the large front window, there is TONS of natural light.Β  I have recollection cubes, carts, and shelves as well as an Ikea cabinet to store everything …albums, paper, inspirational books & magazines (like Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine; of course!!!), stamps, inks, ribbons, embellishments, misc. tools, dies, Cricut, Big Shot and texture boutique.Β …

Hope everyone is settling into summer! Kids are sleeping in, no lunches to make [YAH!!!] and even if you are working, there seems to be a weight lifted off our shoulders. I think it’s because there are still lots of hours of daylight left after the workday to play! If you are as fortunate as Judy Beeksma…you might even have a great creative space to hide in on the rainy days or into the wee hours of the night.I thought I would send these pictures off to you of my scrapbook space.Β  It is the most wonderful room and I love creating here. It is not always this tidy; but these pictures were taken just after I had redesigned it. Enjoy! Thanks Judy for letting us visit this gorgeous space!

We are back again with another WHERE YOU CREATE. We are heading to New Brunswick to visit Raymonde’s crafting room, I know you’ll want to get an invite to visit her…her room is full of crafty stuff. Corners and cabinets waiting to be opened to the treasures they hide within! My space is my little piece ofΒ  heaven where I can go and let all those ideas out. I also call it my therapy room, i love organizing it and it is big enough to have 3 to 4 friends over. FromΒ scrapbooking, smashing, project life, card making, mini album even painting and sewing…this room serves my needs. Thanks so much Raymonde for letting us into your craft room! It looks like a wonderful place to play!

Can you believe it’s time for WHERE YOU CREATE already? These weeks are going by way too fast! Time to slow down and visit Anna’s craft room! Lots of great organizing ideas and a pretty sneaky suspicion that PINK is Anna’s favourite colour. Here are some pictures of my β€œPretty in Pink” craft room.Β  It is still new to me as I only completed it last October. Β I still had most of my scrapbooking and crafts in boxes from the last time we moved and newer things, still in the bags from the store. Β Once my son was old enough to sleep in a big boy bed, we moved him to a new bedroom and I started working on my own space… a place that is all mine! It was a lot of work, a lot more than I imagined but it was totally worth the effort! Β Not only…

Another Friday has made it into our lives! I am frantically packing last minute things for our holidays; it leaves me feeling anxious and excited at the same time! Β One thing that ranks up there on the “awesome list” with holidays is a well organized craft space! You will LOVE Christine Traversa’s space. She has some great ideas for keeping things in their organized place The room was 9 long years coming together, but worth the wait. When I first come in the door, I have my patterned paper on a tall rack, and a long work table with stools. I love this work area, my daughters sometimes paint there and it is very handy for holiday gift wrapping. I wanted a space to have all my “color agents” I have them in a recessed wall area on shelves. This includes watercolor and acrylic paints, pastels, colored embossing powders, colored…

Guess what? It’s Friday again; which means we get to peek into another creative space! This week we are staying in Alberta. We are heading to Watervalley to visit Cheryle Newsome! Hi! I saw on Facebook where you will be showing our craft rooms every Friday.Β Here’s a peek into mine.Β  I live in an old farmhouse in the foothills of Alberta, near Watervalley.Β  The main floor has two bedrooms. When we moved in, the previous owner had removed the closet; from what is my craft room, to enlarge the master closet. I utilized the remainingΒ door frameΒ as temporary shelving until weΒ decide to fix it up. My most coveted piece is the large tilting, adjustable work table from Ikea. It comes complete with a window so I can use it as a built in light box for any tracing or light embossing. Β  Above my curtains, I have strung all of the…

WhooHoo! Here we are already at our Victoria Day long weekend!Β Many of you will fill your weekend with yard work, first camping trip of the season, sports events with your kids…the possibilities are endless. This May long weekend almost feels a bit likeΒ New Year, there is a sense of renewal in the air…the prize after months of winter! It also means weΒ have been sharing close to 6 months of Β YOUR creative spaces on ourΒ blog in 2015! Lets take a peek at some of the spaces you have shared with us! Please keep sending us our pictures! We love sharing your spaces and the feedback we get from our readers is so positive!Β All spaces welcome! From the corner in your kitchen to the elaborate room designed specifically for your purpose, there will always be someone who identifies with your space orΒ organizing ideas! I know I personally have gotten ideas from our readers…

Friday again! They seem to come up so fast this time of year! Today’s Where You Create features pictures form Glenda Tkalac’s creative space; hope you enjoy! Glenda sent lots of pictures for our viewing pleasure! Thanks to Glenda for letting us peek into her well organized space! I hope you got some ideas that can work for you! We are always wanting to see WHERE YOU CREATE; so keepΒ your emails coming!

Happy May! Are you feeling like you made it through winter? We Canadians are a hardy bunch; many wouldn’t tolerate our weather woes as well! Now we get into our spring groove which will always lead to summer fun. Our calendars will fill with outdoor events, holidays and long weekends. Take in the warmth and light of the sun…you deserve it! Let’s celebrate by taking a pause in our day to visit Bonnie Smith’s creative space! She has some great, easy organizing ideas that I am sure will inspire you! My room has gone through quite a few alterations over the past 11 years. I have found the best location to be just steps away from our family room. My favorite part of my space is my desk. It is 50% Michael’s cubes and 50% my sisters carpentry. It’s just the right amount of work space and holds so…

Here we are…the last Friday in April! How did that happen? This is the time of year when I want the hours in the day to “slow down” so we can savour the sunshine and warmth. Winter is still fresh in many of our minds and we don’t need the next months to “whiz” by too fast! That said…grab a comforting beverage of your choice [you know mine will be a coffee!], take a big relaxing breath and sit for a moment to enjoy Sue Donald’s scrapbooking space! I’m excited that you’re sharing my scrap room; it’s my favourite place to be! When we moved to West Kelowna, we found a six bedroom house! My husband and I are both retired; the kids are on their own; so why did we need a six bedroom house? Number one reason…visitors! Then of course; a scrap room for me and a…
