Hello crazy crafters! My name is Candace Robichaud from Edmonton, Alberta and I am ridiculously thrilled to be a guest blogger for my all time favorite magazine today (total brownie points)! I own my own automotive magazine Carsgone.com (shameless plug), I am an aspiring photographer and have a background in graphic design. I have been scrapbooking for about 8 years and am currently on the design team for Treasured Memories. I also pretend to work there a lot, and sometimes they even let me design their amazing month kits! It is one of my favorite things to do besides sip a Timmies Ice capp, surf Netflix, or enjoy a foot massage from my 10 yr old daughter Tayla who happens to be well-trained. All of the projects that I am pumped to share with you today were created with the Treasured Memories October Month kit, which I put together and…
These past week, I remembered. I remembered what I have no first hand knowledge about. I remembered brave men and women I have never met. I celebrated the safety and freedom of my life. Today, my heart overflows with gratitude for the bravery and sacrifice of others. Thank-you. A few years ago, we were able to spend Canada Day in Ottawa. What an experience that was! I loved the ceremony and the pride and joy swelling from the crowds. I bet you are wondering why I am reminiscing about Canada Day on Remembrance Day. It is simply because we stopped at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on that day. I guess I just felt the need to look at those photos again. And remember. Lest we forgetβ¦ Supplies Used: Cardstock- Bazzill Basics Paper Β and Core’dinations ColorCore cardstock; Patterned Paper, Stickers- Graphic 45; Dies- Spellbinders; Phoomph under photos and…
Hi Everyone…or should I say, “Happy Halloween!” It’s Kelly here to share a layout. Do you have you have your costumes ready and spooky dΓ©cor around the house?Β I know I have some cobwebs here and there!Β ha ha ha Here isΒ a Halloween layout I designed using Simple Stories’ fun “Frankie and Friends” collection, along with someΒ awesome SizzixΒ dies. I based my design on Sue Sykes’ October Sketch. Have you been playing with her sketches and uploading your layouts to our Sketchy gallery? Here are the three Sizzix dies I used: I die cut them from American Crafts glitter paper… love the sparkle! Beacon Adhesives is great for adhering these pieces: I bent the bat wings for added dimension and just glued their heads down. With white and black markers, I added faux stitching around the title and other cut paper elements. It’s never too late to create a layout based on…

My name is Sylvie Hoobanoff and Iβm very happy to share a project Iβve been working on with you today. I live in beautiful Canal Flats, BC with my husband of 25 years. This fall we became empty nesters when our 18 year old daughter, Julia, went away to college and our 17 year old son, Nick, went away to play Junior B hockey. Now that my car pooling days are over, I am hoping to find more time for my passion of paper crafting and scrapbooking. My daughter graduated high school in June 2014. After the two day event, I had over 100 photos to scrapbook! There were professional photos, personal photos that I took and even some I borrowed from my daughterβs friends from…
