Hello everyone Noreen Smith here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. Although the summer is winding down, we are still enjoying the great weather and all the beautiful produce that is ripe and ready to eat! I’m not the best gardener but my strawberry plants have been so fruitful (pun intended!) this year, and we have been eating bowlful after delicious bowlful of them! The Creative Memories Locally Grown Collection that was released last month by Creative Memories is perfect for documenting this year’s bountiful harvest – just in case next year’s crop isn’t so great! One Sketch – THREE Ways!

Hi everyone! Noreen Smith here from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com with a double page sketch for you! I had so much fun with this sketch that I couldn’t just make one layout based on it…I had to make three! And I was happy to use three of the newest new paper collections from Creative Memories – Oh, Canada!, Star-Spangled and Brave – to do so. Happy Tuesday! Kim here with a fun Aloha layout I finished up not too long ago. Do you ever find a collection of papers and embellishments and immediately know what photo[s] you would use with it? I LOVE when that happens, because that’s a big part of the creative process taken care of…sometimes the hardest! This was just the case when I saw the Sun-Kissed collection from Creative Memories! We were fortunate to get to Hawaii for the very first time in February…this paper pack and matching embellishments screamed ALOHA to me! I instantly knew what I wanted to do with this layout, so it came together quite quick…which is so not my norm! This week we are visiting the winter 2016 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. In this issue, Christy Riopel did some SERIOUS designing with the Creative Memories Original Border Punch system. SHE ROCKED IT! Here is just a sample of one the projects she created for her regular column – The Tool Junkie. This was the very last article that Christy wrote for Creative Scrapbooker Magazine before her passing in August of 2016. Using the Creative Memories Border Punch System to Create a Stencil 1. Load a cartridge that makes a set of holes as a border. Some punches work better for this than others. 2. Punch a strip into a thicker piece of cardstock. 3. Spring Cards Featuring Creative Memories

Hello! Noreen here from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com. Spring is right around the corner (although you’d never know it from the amount of snow still on the ground in Calgary!) and with it come so many wonderful events to celebrate – Easter, Spring Birthdays, Weddings, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Graduations, First Communions & Confirmations, and Mother’s Day…Blessed events for sure! I thought it would be great to have a bunch of cards made up ahead of time for some of these lovely celebrations using Creative Memories stunning Full Bloom and Timber Paper Packs, along with the coordinating Full Bloom Embellishments and Stickers.
