I have been using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Planner Essential system for over a year now. I have a mix of Planner Essential Dies and Art Journal Dies, they give me endless options. Once I get started creating I find it hard to go to bed, they really push me to think creatively and their dies allow me to use up supplies in really unique ways. For this two-page spread, I used the Celebrate Autumn Collection from Echo Park Paper Co. It’s an older collection with a fabulous colour scheme. I can’t resist teal and yellow. One of the fun items in the Echo Park Paper Co. collections is the Journaling Cards. These cards transition easily into actual pockets and tags with Elizabeth Craft Designs dies. For this spread, I used the journaling cards in two ways. Most obviously, I used an Elizabeth Craft Designs Planner Essentials die to cut…

I pulled out the Echo Park Paper Co. Baby Girl paper collection the other night and started to play. This collection is so soft and pretty to work with. I created this card and although I don’t have anyone to give it to, I put it in my greeting card box that’s filled with cards for someone special when the time is right! I created the background using an Elizabeth Craft Designs die. The cardstock is from Ranger Simon Hurley Create – it just might be my favourite right now. I turned the die into a sticker using Sookwang double-sided adhesives. For the final touches, I used the coordinating Echo Park Paper Co. Baby Girl Sticker Book. This book is SERIOUSLY PACKED with stickers!!! I added dimension to the card using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares. Here is a FASTFORWARD look of the card coming together. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MieVt_6oBc Have…

Okay, I LOVE the Carta Bella Paper Co. En Vogue collection! The soft matte muted colours, the” fashionista” images, the Paris feel, the lipstick, the purses, the dresses, and more! This collection is super playful and really easy to design with! Here is a cute little layout I put together in literally an hour! I also had some fun trying out some new pens. Zebra Sarasa Fine Felt Tip Pens. I used this pen for the journaling and some decorative lines. It was perfect! The final touch – I adhered everything together with a combination of Glue Dots Super Strength Gluetape and All-Purpose Dots to add some dimension here and there. I almost always start a layout by looking at a sketch! Here is the sketch that I based my layout on, designed by Kerry Engel. I turned the sketch on its side. Remember to do that when you are…

Hello crafty friends! Tracy here and today I have a pretty little layout to share and a card I also created using some leftover bits and pieces featuring Echo Park Paper Co. Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L AND the Brother ScanNCut SDX125Here are all of the details. The first step was to create my simple layered background. White cardstock 10.5×10.5, yellow cardstock 11×11 and the pink plaid is the full 12×12. I cropped the photo to 4×4 and matted it in white cardstock, and added Creative Photo Corners White. Then cut 2 patterned mats that I distressed the edges on. Adhere these layers together. Add the matted photo and a couple of strips of patterned paper to the left-hand side of the layout using the E-Z Runner Grand and Crafty Foam Tape. I then added a few cardstock sticker embellishments around the layout, including the title in the bottom right-hand corner.…
