Stampin’ Up! Daisy Delight by Cathy Caines

With so many amazing products to play with from the Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue, it was difficult to decide what stamp set I wanted to show you this month. However, after months of grey skies seeing the sun streaming through my window was the inspiration I needed. Heck, even seeing the yellow weeds (Ahem. Dandelions) growing in my front yard was a welcome sight. Of couurse, I’d much rather see daisies. Stampin’ Up! has released a daisy stamp set and co-ordinating punch. It makes it unbelievably easy to make a gorgeous flower bouquet at the tips of your fingers!I’ve created this card and favour box using my water colouring techniques of crushed curry refill ink and an aqua painter. It’s so easy that you don’t even have to go inside the lines while colouring. To create this look, I used water colour paper and heat embossed the daisy stamp using…

Hello everyone, Kerry Engel here with one sketch – three different projects. This is a good sketch for a big or dominant photo that really tells your story. The curvy diagonal lines create movement and energy. Supplies: Creative Memories Cap and Gown Collection, Clearsnap ColorBox ink and embossing powder, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, Stampin’ Up! gold thread, Studio Calico brad. An old Colleague of mine posted her graduation photos on Facebook one day and I instantly had an urge to scrap them. The Cap and Gown collection from Creative Memories has several “2107” embellishments but it’s really a versatile collection. The colors work really well with vintage photos. I glammed it up a bit with gold embossing powder and shiny brads and thread. The papers held up well to mix media techniques. And the coordinating album is a really classy. Hello CSM scrapbookers! Kim here, thanks for dropping by the blog to see what I have been up to! Last September; my hubby and I went to Scotland for a wonderful, two-week holiday. I am still in the process of culling through pictures and scrapbooking some of our adventures. The layout I am sharing today uses the gorgeous “transatlantic TRAVEL” collection by Carta Bella. The paper is such beautiful quality and the collection lent itself well to a travel location so rich in history and well…across the Atlantic Ocean! My layout uses patterned paper, journal cards [cut from a 12×12 sheet], stickers and a quote border all from the same collection. I have added a journaling insert behind the photo mat; this also allows an extra photo to be placed on the back of my journaling. Hi Friends! It’s June and that means that Stampin’ Up! has released a brand new catalogue. It’s something I look forward to every year. I love looking at the new products and admiring the ideas inside the crisp pages while enjoying a hot cup of coffee out of my favourite mug. Armed with a sharpie and a pen, I check off products that I already own and create a list of “needs”, “wants” and “maybes” inside my bullet journal. One of my “need now” items is a product bundle called Birthday Delivery which includes a stamp set and a matching die. I have been swooning over the images in this set for months. There are plenty of images on the co-ordinating paper, as well as the stamp set but today I am focusing on this little girl. Hello everyone – Kerry Engel here with a fun card for you to colour and design at home. This card is a bit of a mash-up. I first drew out the words and cut out half the butterfly on my electronic cutting machine. You could easily just print it out on cardstock and fussy cut half the butterfly if you do not have a cutting machine. – CLICK HERE for the project.I stamped around the words with a Falling Flowers stamp from Stampin’ Up! I made a mask of the stamp (and words) so I could layer the flowers down the side of the card.I used a Ranger embossing pen and traced around the main title and used clear embossing powder to create a raised border on the letters. I coloured in the letters, butterfly and flowers using my Chameleon pens. Shading and layering with various yellows and oranges. To finish it…
