Hi friends! Noreen here from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here, sharing a layout based on the March 2020 Sketchy Challenge sketch! Each month I look forward to seeing and using Kerry Engelleโ€™s FREE sketch, and this month Iโ€™m using the new Spring Medley Collection from Creative Memories to create my layout based on it. It is a beautiful collection with soft blue, aqua and green accented with navy, gray and beige, and I love that there is a Designer Paper Pack with beautiful patterns AND a Tone-on-Tone Paper Pack that are so versatile! The collection also features sweet stickers, beautiful mat cards, fun paper pockets & embellishments, and a beautiful new Spring Leaf Border Maker Cartridge โ€“ all of which work together to document so many different occasions and themes! Take a look: And here is Kerryโ€™s March Sketch from the Sketchy Gallery that Iโ€™ll be basing my own layout on: To start…

Happyย  Tuesday! Kim here on the Creative Scrapbooker blog again, sharing a couple of projects I worked on this past weekend!ย Iโ€™m sure, if you are a bit like me, that every now and then you find some paper that makes you super happy! Well, when I came across Echo Park Paper Co.ย Little Lumberjack Collection, it made me squeal just a bit! I LOVE all the plaids, patterns and whimsical designs. They will honestly keep lumberjacks of all ages happy! I first created a simple layout. I layered a square of Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock to the plaid background. I donโ€™t often work with exact measurements, instead I often just use intuition based all parts! I then cut 4 rectangles from papers in the collection, approximately 3.5 x 5. This became the main component to build upon, from this point itโ€™s all fun and embellishment! I had fun layering the stickers,…

Hi friends! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here with a fun and FREE Cut-File that is perfect to use with the new Magic Awaits collection by Creative Memories! This happy and bright collection is awesome for documenting photos of adventures in theme parks, carnivals and fairs, playgrounds, birthday parties and lots of other adventures. The red, black and yellow color palette make is super versatile for so many occasions! I loved the name of the collection so much that I decided to create a cut-file featuring it. The โ€œMagic Awaitsโ€ title and shadow layer cut-files can be resized and used on layouts, mini-albums or even cards. Iโ€™ve provided both elements in PNG, JPG and SVG format so you can use it with many different electronic cutting machines. You can download the free cut-file in the OCM Shop I envisioned using this cut-file as the title on a layout showing my boys arriving…

Hello scrappy friends! Tracy McLennon here, and today I have a little sparkly layout to share featuring Simple Stories Hey Crafty Girl Collection and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3Lย  Here are all of the details. I started my creation by taking a piece of Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock and cutting it to 11.5×11.5. Next, I took my Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Home Hobby by 3L Extreme Double-Sided 1/4″Adhesive and edge by edge added a strip. Add one strip at a time, and add the coordinating Elizabeth Craft Designs Silk MiroFine Glitter one at a time. Adhere this layer to a sheet of black cardstock. I cut 2 pieces from the Hey Crafty Girl Collection by Simple Stories patterned paper that were 9×9 and adhere to the background. Add a striped strip of patterned paper that is 1.5×10.5. Mat the 4×6 photo in white cardstock and add Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Creative…

Love this layout that Kim Gowdy created for the Winter issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Kim designed the layout using the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Traveler collection. The journaling was done using a Kelly Creates black Fineliner. Everything was glued together using Glue Dots Permanent Glue Squares. Hey, Kim here with a quick layout share! I created this simple layout last week using Simple Storiesโ€™ Hey Crafty Girl Collection. Itโ€™s a family photo taken from this past summer! The Hey Crafty Girl collection is a great mix of fun patterns and colours. From 12×12 papers, journal blocks, stickers, ephemera and chipboard pieces โ€“ this kit will provide hours of creative fun! Some additional supplies used on my layout include: Chameleon Fineliner pens for my journaling. A couple of adhesives from Glue Dots. Ranger Distress Oxide Ink was used to colour my wooden tag (that came off of some unknown product that we bought at some point).Studio Calico plastic heart & May Arts twine. Have you picked up the WINTER issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine? It will keep you inspired until the SPRING issue arrives!

Happy Tuesday! Itโ€™s me, Kim [instagram], back on the blog today with a scrapbooking layout inspired by Stampers Anonymous Pressed Foliage stamp set and our September Sketchy Challenge. Autumn is hands down my favourite time of the year. I love the colours, the crisp air and the cozy clothes that are all part of the season. However, as I sit here typing up my blog post, my world has been blanketed in frozen, white crystals of snow..NOT my favourite season! *sigh* At least I have documented the loveliness of autumn and can enjoy the memories through my photos. This season will bless my world again in 2020! My layout started as a simple white piece of Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock. This smooth, bright white, 130lb weight card stock is the PERFECT foundation for cards and layouts. Your inks will fall in love with this product! I randomly stamped different leaf…

Hello scrappy friends! Tracy here, and today I have a pretty little layout to share featuring Simple Stories, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and an extra-large photo. Here are all of the details. Every once in a while I find a photo that I just love. A beautiful way to showcase photos like these is to print them as 8×12’s. An 8×12 is a full-frame image, the same size ratio as a 4×6. Printing it this size will not only fit perfectly to our 12×12 layouts, but it also won’t crop off any of your image. I used the Simple Stories Spring Farmhouse Collection including patterned paper, chipboard, stickers, and Bits & Pieces. I stuck everything down using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Crafty Foam Tape, E-Z Runner Grand, Thin 3D Foam Squares, 3D Foam Squares and Adhesive Dodz. I used any old colour of cardstock at the background, a base for…

Hello everyone! Kerry Engel here today on the Creative ScrapbookerMagazine blog playing with a FABULOUS new product by Therm O Web Deco Foil – Flock Transfer Sheets. I have fallen in love! Velvet, suede-like surfaces are now so easy to create using Therm O Web Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets; itโ€™s easy and mess-free. There are 8 different colors of flockingย  to choose from. Flocking adds a whole new dimension and character to your paper crafting projects. It adds texture and texture therapy is why I scrapbook. You can cut the Flock Transfer Sheets into shapes or you can transfer the flocking to cardstock using Transfer Gel. I applied a layer of Transfer Gel through a Clearsnap ColorBox Art Screen – this one is called โ€˜jumbledโ€™. It will take an hour or so to dry. Lay the Flock Transfer Sheet fuzzy side down on the dried paste. Place the two…

Hello everyone, Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog excited to share with you a fun little technique to make your stamped images POP with little or no effort using a white opaque pigment pen by Ranger. I am going to call this technique – white pen painting. LOL!ย  I am slightly addicted. To create this layout I used a variety of Stampers Anonymous stamps, Ranger products, Glue Dots Adhesives, MultiCraft Craft Decor burlap ribbon, and wooden embellishments. I challenged myself with this layout to see how many different ways I could use stamps. To be honest I only started using stamps a few years ago when I got into mixed media. This particular group of stamps really inspires me, and they work so well with my Europe photos. When all was said and done I used my stamps in 3 different ways. I used the following…
