I love watching everyone get together as friends to enjoy their hobbies, their passions. At a scrapbooking/papercrafting event the sharing of ideas is amazing. From the moment they unpack their tools and toys, sit down and begin creating the sharing begins. Everyone learns from each other and then there is the classes, the demos, the make’n takes that you can participate in to further the creative experience of the event at the Winnipeg, “Scrapchicks” gone wild event, I taught two classes and did a make’n take in the booth where I taught a fun background technique and they created a Christmas tag using that technique. Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans- Katelyn Grosart here today on the blog! Christmas is almost here and I’ve started to create some Christmas Cards. I usually don’t even think about creating Christmas cards until it’s too late and Christmas has passed, but this year, I’ve started early. Hopefully I will end up getting more created, but at least right now, I know I have two. I hope that my Christmas Cards will inspire you to recreate them for your loved ones and friends. Hello Friends its Karan Gerber here with you today on the Creative Scrapbooker blog sharing a Christmas card with you using Heartfelt Creations paper, stamps and coordinating dies. What i love about the collections from Heartfelt Creations is how easy it is to create gorgeous cards by just adding a few die cut images. I am working with the papers from the Festive Holly Collection Stamps and dies also from the Festive Holly Collection and the small poinsettias are from Celebrate the Season Today I am using distress inks from Ranger and Zig Clean Color Brush Markers from Kuretake to color my images. Hey everyone, Nicole over at Nicole Wright Designs and I am sharing a creative challenge I face… a simple clean card. I always want to throw all my inks, stamps, die cuts, stencils and embellishments at them. This card is so clean and basic there’s barely even a tutorial. That is great if you want to make some quick holiday cards or gift tags. Take the stress out of the holidays and keep it simple. The key to making these quick with a little bling are the Ranger Metal Foil Tape Sheets. I cut the Woodlands, Holiday Words Block and Holiday Words Script Thinlits with the Foil Sheets. Using the Magnetic Platorm for the Thinlits makes cutting easy as the dies won’t shift. 2. Simply position and stick the Woodlands Metal Foil Tree onto your cardstock. No glue required.
