Happy Tuesday everyone! I am wrapping my head around the fact that fall is upon us and summer 2015 is in the books. As always, we hit the ground running at the beginning of September with the start up of all our activities. With summer fading fast, I really enjoyed pulling out a few favourite summer memories and getting them onto scrapbook paper! I hope you enjoy them too. The first is a layout I created using a photo from summer 2014. I love the look of uncertain amazement on my daughter’s face as she realized that the dragonfly actually came to rest on her outstretched finger! It was a perfect symbol of hope and light for her as she wrestled with feelings of unsettledness about our impending move. Hello everyone!  It’s Kelly Klapstein here today to share a layout I designed using the August Sketch and Creative Memories. Have you heard that Creative Memories has returned to the crafting industry? I know there are many of you who are thrilled about this news! I thought that their papers would be perfect to scrapbook some photos of icebergs I took while visiting Newfoundland in July.  Thanks to my friend, Michelle Marks, we went “Iceberg Hunting” and found these beauties!  I was in AWE. I used a couple of paper packs from Creative Memories: Neutral and Vintage. I thought the combination of blues and greys worked well for my iceberg themed page. I created the diamond pattern background layer with my Brother ScanNCut machine, cut it from watercolour paper, and then painted it in ombre blue shades with my Tombow Dual Brush Pens.
