Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! Katelyn Grosart here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. I’m excited to be back sharing with you my pretty card perfect for an anniversary or wedding. The jumping off point for my project was the Forever & Always collection and embellishments from Wild Whisper Designs. Which I combined with some adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, chipboard from Southern Ridge Trading Company, embossing powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies, Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine and ink from Ranger, I was able to create this pretty Love Card. Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans ! Katelyn Grosart here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. Today I am sharing with you a pretty flower-themed project featuring the Botanical Garden collection by Carta Bella. At the beginning of May, we went to the Tulip Festival in Abbotsford to check out all the amazing rows of different coloured and varieties of tulips. So for today’s project, I created my scrapbook layout using inspiration from our May Sketch designed by Kerry Engel. With the May sketch in hand, I set off to create my layout using the Botanical Garden Collection from Carta Bella which I combined with some adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, and ink from Ranger Ink, I was able to create my pretty Beautiful Day Scrapbook Layout. Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! I’m thrilled to be back on the blog today sharing with you my vintage Altered Frame. Spring is definitely here and that means that I’m starting to switch up some of the décor pieces in my home. The jumping off point for my project was the Midnight Garden collection as well as other papers and embellishments from Prima Marketing Inc which I combined with some adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs and ink from Ranger Ink, I was able to create this vintage Do Everything with Love Altered Frame. Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! I’m back on the blog today to share with you a fun Disney themed scrapbook layout. Spring Break has just finished here in parts of BC and with Spring Break, that usually means there is at least someone going on a trip to Disneyland, which has inspired me to scrapbook some of the photos from my own Disneyland trip back in August of 2010. To create my frame, I’ve used the Mermaid Cove Collection from Creative Memories Dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs Ink from Ranger Ink and adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! I’m excited to be back on the blog today sharing with you my last post of the year and to end the year, I’ve created a Christmas themed scrapbook layout. To kick-start the idea for my layout, I used our December Sketch which was designed by Kerry Engel. Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! It’s hard to believe that there are only 29 days until Christmas and I’m excited to be back on the blog today sharing with you a vintage Christmas Card. The jumping off point for my project is the Simple Vintage Christmas Collection from Simple Stories as well as products from Ranger Ink and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to create my Merry Christmas to all & to all a good night Christmas Card. Grab a cup of your favourite Christmas beverage and I will walk you through on how you can recreate my card at home. I’m excited to be back on the blog sharing with you a pretty fall themed wall hanging which was inspired by all of the leaves falling here on the west coast and the Fall Break collection by Carta Bella. For the base of my project, I used the Fall Break Collection from Carta Bella as well as products from Emerald Creek Crafts, Elizabeth Craft Designs, Southern Ridge Trading Company, Ranger Ink and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to create my Wool Sweaters, Bonfires and Pumpkin Carvings Wall Hanging. Grab a cup of your favourite Fall beverage and I will walk you through on how you can recreate my wall hanging at home. To start, you’ll need two Pumpkin Leaves from Southern Ridge Trading Company. Always Be Yourself…Unless You Can Be a Mermaid

Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! I’m back on the blog today to share with you a fun fantasy themed tag. With Fall in the air, it was fun to work with some bright and cheerful patterned paper which had me longing for some sunny weather to come back. The inspiration for my tag came from the “Always Be Yourself Unless You Can Be A Mermaid” card out of the Simple Stories Collection – Dream Big. To create my tag, I used the Dream Big 12×12 Collection Kit from Simple Stories. As well as the Chipboard Stickers, 4×6 Stickers and the Bits & Pieces from the Dream Big Collection from Simple Stories. For the base of my tag, I used the Medium Etcetera Tag from Stampers Anonymous.
