Hey, Creative Scrapbooker fans Katelyn Grosart here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. I am here to share with you a fun summer themed scrapbook layout featuring the Creative Memories Maritime Collection. The jumping off point for my layout was using the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine August Sketch. With the sketch in hand I set off to create my Galiano Scrapbook Layout which features the Maritime Collection from Creative Memories, Blackboard Alphabet Die set from Elizabeth Craft Designs, Ink from Ranger Ink and adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. Although I’m not a coffee drinker myself, many of my friends are, so this is a perfect tag to give to one of them. The jumping off point for my project was the new Coffee Themed Stamps by Pam Bray & Just Java Aroma Embossing Powder which are both from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies. Summer has arrived and the inspiration for my project definitely came from all the bright colours that come with summer. The jumping off point for my project was the Small Patterns & Forever & Always collections from Wild Whisper Designs which combined with a variety of mediums and art journal from Ranger Ink, stencils from Stampers Anonymous, a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs and adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, I was able to create my fun I Have an Entire Forest Art, Journal Page. For me, I always find it challenging to create a baby card because it’s one of those types of cards that you don’t need often. Spring has arrived here on the coast and the flowers are starting to bloom. So, with Spring in mind, I set out to create my project. By using a variety of dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs and ink from Ranger Ink, I was able to create this beautiful Happy Birthday Card. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage as I share with you how to recreate my Happy Birthday Card at home.To start, place the 4” Dashing Rectangle die from Elizabeth Craft Designs on a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock also from Elizabeth Craft Designs. Using the Always & Forever Collection from Simple Stories, some adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, a wood piece from Southern Ridge Trading Company and a variety of products from Ranger Ink, I was able to create this beautiful Every Love Story Wall Hanging. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage as I share with you how I created my wall hanging.For the base of my project, I used a wood piece from Southern Ridge Trading Company.Β  You’ll need to apply three coats of Black Soot Distress Paint from Ranger Ink to the wood piece. Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! Winter has definitely hit the west coast of Canada this week and we even ended up with a white Christmas. With the cold weather here, I decided to create a winter note card . For my note card, I’ve used a variety of products from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies, dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, some adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L as well as a few products from Ranger Ink, to create this fabulous Warmest Wishes winter note card. To start, cut a piece of Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine that measures 3 3/4” x 3 3/4”. Using a blending tool with foam as well as Broken China Distress Ink and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, blend the inks over the entire surface of the cardstock. I usually don’t even think about creating Christmas cards until it’s too late and Christmas has passed, but this year, I’ve started early. Hopefully I will end up getting more created, but at least right now, I know I have two.
