Birch Logs & Twigs Die Set by Impression Obsession

Kerry Engel has been a little Christmas Elf creating Christmas cards for friends and families. Recently she was playing with the Impression Obsession Birch Logs & Twigs die set. Look at this beautiful card that she designed. Here are a few details of all those glorious layers. She adhered everything down using Glue Dots Glue Lines. Perfect for those birch logs. The Merry Christmas sentiment is also an Impression Obsession die. GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS! It’s a little piece of a winter wonderland! Quilted Poinsettia Die Frame by Impression Obsession

Our design team member, Kerry Engel has been playing with the Quilted Poinsettia Frame Die by Impression Obsession and I am loving the results. Here is one of her creations. She cut the die out onto our heavyweight Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock. The base of the card was created using some Therm O Web Gina K. Designs cardstock. Kerry Colored the quilted poinsettia frame die using Amy Tangerine watercolors by American Crafts. For the inside of the card, Kerry used another Impression Obsession die and colored it using Ranger Wendy Vecchi embossing powder. Kerry adhered everything to her card using Therm O Web iCraft Mixed Media Adhesive and Sticky Strip Runner. The results are GORGEOUS! Want to see more of Kerry’s creations? Glitz Glitter Gel by Therm O Web – Christmas Cards!!!!

Yahooo! Christmas card making season is around the corner OR maybe it is right now! Christmas truly is one of my MOST favorite times of the year…and without a doubt, the card making that goes on in the next few months is sooooooooo INSPIRING! Recently our design team member, Kerry Engel, was playing with some Therm O Web Gina K. Designs Glitz Glitter Gel and she came up with this SPARKLING card. Kerry used the Carta Bella Christmas Market Holly stencil to create the background. Along with the Therm O Web Gina K. Designs Glitz Glitter Gel. MulltiCraft Forever in Time was the starting point for my “Happy Memories” 12X12 scrapbook layout. Who can resist a jar full of flowers? I was feeling a bit playful in my studio and these charming MultiCraft Forever in Time bottles filled with flowers were the inspiration for my whimsical vision. To build my base layer I stamp some Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink on a non-porous surface (plastic sheet) then I spray some water on the ink. After you spray the ink with water you pick up the plastic sheet and dab it onto the paper. I dapped one colour at a time. I like the look of tone-on-tone so using the same colour of Ranger Oxide Inks and the MultiCraft Forever in Time floral stamps I stamp a variety of flowers on top of the background. Happy Tuesday everyone! Kerry Engel here today with a little project here today featuring the Candid Moments stamp set by Pink & Main. Tags have had an enduring appeal for me. I always have a stash on hand to attach to a gift or add to a scrapbook layout. As a camera nerd I’m always drawn to stamps that showcase my love of all things ”lens-y”, so of course I needed the “Candid Moments” stamp set from Pink & Main. The doodles incorporated on a “Candid Moments” stamps gives them a boho vibe. You can also purchase corresponding dies which helps to speed up your crafting. Flock Transfer Sheets and Kerry Engel

Hello everyone! Kerry Engel here today on the Creative ScrapbookerMagazine blog playing with a FABULOUS new product by Therm O Web Deco Foil – Flock Transfer Sheets. I have fallen in love! Velvet, suede-like surfaces are now so easy to create using Therm O Web Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets; it’s easy and mess-free. There are 8 different colors of flocking to choose from. Flocking adds a whole new dimension and character to your paper crafting projects. It adds texture and texture therapy is why I scrapbook. You can cut the Flock Transfer Sheets into shapes or you can transfer the flocking to cardstock using Transfer Gel. I applied a layer of Transfer Gel through a Clearsnap ColorBox Art Screen – this one is called ‘jumbled’. It will take an hour or so to dry. Hello everyone, Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog excited to share with you a fun little technique to make your stamped images POP with little or no effort using a white opaque pigment pen by Ranger. I am going to call this technique – white pen painting. LOL! I am slightly addicted. To create this layout I used a variety of Stampers Anonymous stamps, Ranger products, Glue Dots Adhesives, MultiCraft Craft Decor burlap ribbon, and wooden embellishments. I challenged myself with this layout to see how many different ways I could use stamps. To be honest I only started using stamps a few years ago when I got into mixed media.
