Welcome to another exciting technique filled Tuesday with the Team.ย  Nicole Wright here sharing how to use a gel plate to enhance your pattern paper for a mixed media vibe.ย  Using pattern paper as a โ€œbase layerโ€ to your next project you can create more depth with paint.ย  Thus, coordinating your paper and paints to anything you create. ย Follow along and see how I created a Mixed Media Floral Wreath. 1 For this technique, I will be using Media Assemblage pattern paper (more info on that at the bottom of this post) and Dina Wakely Media Acrylic Paint by Ranger Ink. Apply paint to the Gel Plate as seen above.ย  You can brayer the paint to blend or use your finger.ย  Add texture to the paint with texture combs. 2 Once the paint is blended and textured, lay the paper right over top.ย  Rub your hand across the paper to…

To create my card, Iโ€™ve used stamps, inks and Paints from Ranger Ink , ย Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, embossing powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies and adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. Youโ€™ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my card at home. To start, die cut a 4โ€ Stitched Rectangle from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. The jumping-off point for my project is the Canadian Winter Collection from Wild Whisper Designs, dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs as well as products from Ranger Ink and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to create my We Have Fire In Our Hearts Wall Hanging. Grab a cup of your favourite winter beverage and I will walk you through on how you can recreate my wall hanging at home. To start, youโ€™ll need the stick paper out of the Canadian Winter Paper Pack from Wild Whisper Designs. Die cut the 4 ยฝโ€ Stitched Fishtail from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the paper. Kim here with a fun project share using the Stampers Anonymous Merry Misfits stamps! Oh, how I LOVE these little guys! They are PERFECT for Christmas tags! The Misfits just make me smile and take a little stress out of the chaos of Christmas! Along with the Misfit stamps, I also used Ranger’s Simon Hurley Classic Flannel stamp, Distress Oxide Inks and a Shifter stencil! These products ALL play so well together!
