Design team member Kim Gowdy had some serious fun playing with the Let’s Shake Our Tail Feathers stamp set by Picket Fence Studios! Check out this GORGEOUS card she designed. Here is the Let’s Shake Our Tail Feathers stamp set by Picket Fence Studios that she used. She paired that set with the Picket Fence Studios The Hen House stamp set and coordinating die. That chicken makes a perfect peacock! Kim used Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks to color the card. The ink was applied using Picket Fence Studios The Life Changing Blender Brushes. Everything on Kim’s card was adhered using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L including 3D Foam Square to pop up the peacock! Here is another look. It’s Friday night!ย A perfect time to “shake those feathers”.
Our design team member, Kerry Engel has been playing with the Quilted Poinsettia Frame Die by Impression Obsession and I am loving the results.ย Here is one of her creations. She cut the die out onto our heavyweight Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock. The base of the card was created using some Therm O Web Gina K. Designs cardstock. Kerry Colored the quilted poinsettia frame die using Amy Tangerine watercolors by American Crafts. For the inside of the card, Kerry used another Impression Obsession die and colored it using Ranger Wendy Vecchi embossing powder. Kerry adhered everything to her card using Therm O Web iCraft Mixed Media Adhesive and Sticky Strip Runner. The results are GORGEOUS! Want to see more of Kerry’s creations? MulltiCraft Forever in Time was the starting point for my “Happy Memories” 12X12 scrapbook layout. Who can resist a jar full of flowers? I was feeling a bit playful in my studio and these charmingย MultiCraft Forever in Time bottles filled with flowers were the inspiration for my whimsical vision. To build my base layer I stamp some Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink on a non-porous surface (plastic sheet)ย then I spray some water on the ink. After you spray the ink with water you pick up the plastic sheet and dab it onto the paper. I dapped one colour at a time. I like the look of tone-on-tone so using the same colour of Ranger Oxide Inks and the MultiCraft Forever in Time floral stamps I stamp a variety of flowers on top of the background. I always have a stash on hand to attach to a gift or add to a scrapbook layout. As a camera nerd Iโm always drawn to stamps that showcase my love of all things โlens-yโ, so of course I needed the โCandid Momentsโ stamp set from Pink & Main. The doodles incorporated on a โCandid Momentsโ stamps gives them a boho vibe. You can also purchase corresponding dies which helps to speed up your crafting.
